You may have heard it on the news recently… the owner of 4000 Wisconsin Ave (our landlord for 25+ years) has decided to put this building on the market. They aren’t renewing any leases past 2017, which is when long-time tenant Fannie Mae will be completely moved out of here. Apparently this complex will be converted into some other use such as high-end residential or perhaps a school. So rather than sit here and watch this entire area turn into a ghost town — seriously, did you notice that Capital One Bank and Franklin Grill disappeared in the night? With us leaving that makes 6 empty bays out of 12. And did you hear that the Post Office across the street isn’t renewing their lease? I’m not making this stuff up. So this shouldn’t surprise you — we’re moving!
We found some really nice space in Georgetown, near the C&O canal and Cady’s Alley.
Here is the new address:
1111 34th Street, NW
Washington, DC 20007
(see map, below)
Over the next several weeks we’ll be transitioning to our new space. With all this equipment, it will take a while, and we’ll be open throughout the process. To find us in Georgetown, head south on Wisconsin,go through Glover Park, make a right on 34th Street and you’ll eventually dead end at our new place, the first building on the right in Cady’s Alley.
Our service will certainly not change. That’s in our blood. Plus we’ve got some great new equipment on order to help make what we do even better. And, we’ll continue to deliver, so you won’t notice a difference in our relationship except our home base will be down the road a couple miles. For those of you who like to do business in person — like us — there is plenty of parking nearby. We’ll even keep a space open for you right out front, upon request, on appointment.
Thank you, Tenleytown, for being a great host to us over the years. We’ll miss you!
