A prominent local dentist came to us for help in connection with a re-branding. The current marketing materials were dated and did not properly reflect the brand. We started by gathering information about the practice. We analyzed the existing customer base as well as the demographics of the practice area. What started as a review eventually turned into an entire corporate identity package, including a new domain, mobile-responsive website, stationery and print collateral. We’re not finished. The next step for this client is integrating photo and video into the site to help visitors get more information about proper dental care as well as problems they may be experiencing and the options available to resolve them. This work, once implemented, will considerably improve the client’s organic search engine results.
This business specializing in yummy hot donuts and coffee came to us for assistance with a mailing project. Their graphic designer had things ready to go — you don’t have to use our design services to work with us — but they needed help getting their materials into the hands of potential clients. Using EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) tools, they identified the zip codes and postal carrier routes they wanted to saturate. When they were ready to launch, we took care of the printing, bundling and mailing. EDDM is actually a great, inexpensive way to blanket entire coverage areas with your marketing materials. And the USPS EDDM tools are surprisingly helpful in their ability to assist businesses to identify and target potential customers. If you don’t have mailing lists, think about trying EDDM.
This client came to us with an important project — gather all of the pieces she had written over a career spanning 50+ years and organize them online in a visually appealing way. Visitors also had to be able to download the originals in PDF format. From a functionality perspective this was a fairly simple project, but there was a short deadline to beat and a particular audience to appease. The end result was a fresh new site with an easy-to-navigate structure. The audience she was trying to communicate with? They ended up acquiring her entire collection of work. This redesign paid for itself in a matter of days! When we hear about results like that it definitely makes us smile. After all, a website is more than an expense, it is an investment. If yours isn’t a profit center, perhaps it’s time to think about a new site.
There was a big trade show coming up in a couple of weeks when members of this start-up approached us with the need to create a packet of materials to hand out to prospective owner-partners. We took an existing logo, color samples and some content from other documents and created a few templates. Then we worked hand in hand with their attorney/content writer to produce several print pieces, including presentation folders, brochures, letters, flyers and leave-behinds. The entire job PLUS a mobile-responsive website was turned over to the client with plenty of time to spare before the show kicked off. Another very satisfied client.
This real estate title company came to us for a brochure redesign, but ended up getting a brand new mobile-responsive website as well. Title companies do a lot of their business online, so a functional website is an absolute must. We designed and wrote the copy for the new site in under 10 days and it generates four (4) times as many leads as its predecessor. We attribute the enhanced performance to a better user experience — better visuals, easier navigation, and interactive features such as real-time quotes for services, online ordering, more. Making things easier/better for website visitors is crucial, especially for companies in highly competitive industries. When potential clients have trouble finding the information they are looking for on a website, or the information they do find doesn’t instill a feeling of trust and confidence in the vendor, they move on.
If your company is in the business of helping clients plan for and host first-rate events, you need to look the part. A first-rate image is what this “celebration consultant” wanted (is that a great title or what?), so that’s what we created for her. After the initial consultation we knew that top-quality materials were a must. We went through a lot of options and she eventually decided on a premium wove cover with matching envelopes — definitely a nice choice for a project like this. Think about it. Do you really want to send a thank you card to a valued client on cheap-looking materials? Of course not. When quality is important, make sure you see all the options.
A healthcare industry start-up approached us for help creating a new logo and print collateral. As with all of our branding projects, we started with some industry research and gathered information about our client and its competition. We worked with the customer to develop a logo which represented the company’s vision and values. There were several revisions. Once this portion of the project was complete we moved on to the print layouts, designing business cards and half-fold brochures with a consistent look and feel. The client selected a high-quality linen cover stock for the prints, giving the project a professional look.
This client had an existing website, but it was in need of an update. And not just visually — it was time to upgrade the site functionality too. We worked with the client through several rounds of edits. Colors, fonts, layout, backgrounds, pretty much everything. The end result is an attractive, optimized site that now runs on autopilot, with eCommerce plus a self-hosted e-Newsletter. We love books, and we’re proud to have been selected by this local micro-publisher to be the company that helps get books into the hands of teachers and kids who love them too.
This software company scored a big contract victory and needed some promotional items for an impromptu celebration. We brainstormed with them and came up with the idea for some custom t-shirts and notepads. (Yes, our perfect binder also doubles as a tool for padding.) We got busy on the clean and simple layout and printed and padded the job on the same day, making the event not only a success, but also a great surprise for the guests. When you need a job conceptualized, designed, printed or created, and you’ve got a deadline, think of us.
A well-known local REALTOR came to us when he decided it was time to give his marketing a facelift. He had been using the same template for years, and it was dated and unimpressive. When you sell high-end homes, the materials you hand out at broker opens, open houses and showings should look the part. So we started fresh. One of our designers created a user-friendly new template for him. Now for each new listing he signs up, he simply forwards specs and description and photos to us. We chose a nice thick, glossy cover stock to finish the job. Our turnaround time on jobs like this is “same-day”, and according to our client the results have been tremendous.
